I’m a wife, mom, grandmother, author, former teacher, entrepreneur, and the woman behind Modern Homestead Woman.
Over the years, I’ve raised a family, homeschooled, taught high school, built businesses, raised chickens, grown gardens, preserved food, stocked a pantry, pursued big goals, moved across the country, changed directions, made plenty of mistakes, and started over more than once.
Those experiences have taught me how valuable clear, practical guidance can be when you’re learning something new or trying to make life work a little better. You shouldn’t have to figure everything out the hard way when someone else’s experience can help you take the next step.
I’ve also learned that there isn’t one formula for a fulfilling life. What matters to you will change as your life changes, and the skills and resources you need will change with it.
